Sebenernya sih beberapa orang agak aneh dengan panggilan gue, Zenia, yang berada sesudah Caroline. Dimana-mana 'kan nama depan yang dijadiin nama panggilan, bukan nama yang kedua. Gak ngerti juga gue, kenapa gue dan adik gue bisa beda sendiri.
Caroline itu nama baptis gue, yang juga nama Emak (Oma dari nyokap). Zenia Ivana itu nama yang dikasih bokap-nyokap. Bener-bener gak tau muncul dari mana. Malah tadinya mau pake huruf X, jadi Xenia, tapi takut terlihat aneh sekali, jadinya milih pake Z. Dan Daud itu jelas, family name.
Nama adik gue juga gak beda. Carmelia itu nama baptis. Tizia Ivani itu nama yang dikasih bokap-nyokap, dan supaya kembar dengan gue. Tadinya Tizia mau dikasih nama Vanessa, tapi gak jadi karena terlalu beda dengan nama gue. Dan Daud, family name. Adek gue juga dipanggilnya Tizia. Carmelia jarang dia pake.
Dulu, waktu masih sekolah, SD - SMP, gue jarang nulis nama Caroline. Kalo ditanya Nama, selalu cuma nulis Zenia. It's enough. Everyone seems to know who I was. Dan semua orang tahu kalo nomor absen gue bukan yang paling akhir. Jadi gue gak pernah repot-repot untuk menambahkan huruf C atau kata Caroline di depan nama gue.
Tapi semua itu berubah pas gue SMA. Gue harus nulis nama Caroline di depan, supaya memudahkan mereka melihat buku absen. Ditambah lagi, gue harus siap dipanggil Caroline. Tentu aja, lama-lama toh semua tahu panggilan gue Zenia.
Hal yang sama terjadi lagi waktu kuliah di Untar. Ada beberapa yang manggil Caroline, tapi toh dengan cepat semua tahu nama panggilan gue Zenia, yang berubah lagi menjadi Ze.
Lambat-laun gue jadi mulai menerima nama Caroline sebagai nama gue. Sebagai nama panggilan maksudnya. Karena sekarang, pas di YAI, hampir sebagian besar tau atau manggil gue dengan Caroline (Yeah I know...there's something about why I let them called me Caroline. But, we'll talk about it later). Dan lambat laun gue jadi males aja menjelaskan atau meralat mereka supaya memanggil gue dengan nama Zenia.
Buat gue nama Caroline itu...grand, feminine, and delicate, which I'm not the three of that, bikin gue agak sedikit...jengah menggunakan nama Caroline.
Tapi kalo lihat keterangan di bawah sih...gue banget!!! Hahahaha... not all of it but some of it or a lot parts of it is me.
