Thanks to MIA for introducing this song to me.

Baru aja main ke blog Mia dan baca postingan dia tentang ini lagu. Tertarik dengan liriknya yang memang menyentuh, mau enggak mau gue jadi langsung mengunjungi 4shared.com untuk mencoba mendengarkan yang langsung berlanjut pada proses pengunduhan dan sekarang lagi gue dengerin. Now it's on repeat mode...I really can listen this song for a whole day!

Dan tiba-tiba terpikir untuk ikutan menaruh itu lagu di sini....hehehehe maaf ya Mia kalo jadi terkesan meniru...eh salah ya? Bukan terkesan lagi, karena emang niru hahaha.....plus mau bikin iri sekalian karena mau masang v-klip nya yang daku temukan di youtube hahaha.... ;)

Lagu Temporary Home dinyanyikan oleh Carrie Underwood dari album Play On (2009). Buat yang tertarik untuk mengunduh, monggo ke 4shared.com aja ya...gunakan search engine dan tinggal ketik judulnya nanti bakal keluar banyak pilihan...dengerin dulu karena ada yang suaranya kurang bagus, baru abis itu diunduh.

Gue biasanya enggak gitu suka dengan lagu country, meskipun demikian ada beberapa kali gue menemukan lagu country yang menarik untuk didengarkan, biasanya sih yang udah agak-agak pop. Satu hal yang menarik dari lagu country, menurut adek gue, adalah lirik di dalam lagu tersebut. Lirik lagu country sering sekali berisi cerita, bukan sekedar puisi atau curahan hati. Malah, bisa jadi satu lagu itu isinya murni cerita. Coba aja perhatiin. Enggak semua sih, tapi kebanyakan seperti itu.

Waduh...entah kenapa tiba-tiba inget sama ini lagu...gara-garanya gue iseng nyari soal "Fame" di wikipedia dan gue membaca soal soundtracknya dan terpampang lah judul ini...membuat gue kembali mengingat masa-masa itu... hihihi...

Yang lebih parah, setelah baca kembali nih teks...gue baru ngeh...betapa gue suka nih lagu dan betapa dalam nya di lirik...dalem banget!!! Bikin gue klepek-klepek baca/denger nih lagu...

I Know Him So Well

Beberapa hari terakhir ini, gue memilih mendengarkan lagu di ipod gue secara shuffle. Biasanya gue lebih memilih mendengarkan lagu berdasarkan albumnya. Mungkin karena terbiasa mendengarkan kaset/CD 1 album, jadi pada waktu punya ipod pun gue jarang memasukkan lagu-nya saja. Biasanya langsung 1 album gue masukkin semua.

Dan suatu hari, or suatu malam, pada saat mendengarkan lagu "Angel" yang dinyanyiin sama John Barrowman, gue memutuskan untuk mendengarkan seluruh lagu dari album John Barrowan "Music, Music, Music" dan tiba-tiba gue stumble upon this one beautiful and wonderful song..."I Know Him So Well".

FYI, John Barrowman itu penyanyi kelahiran Skotland tapi besar di Amrik, pemain broadway theater gitu, jadi suaranya udah pasti keren, dan [ini baru gue sadari belakangan] kalo dia nyanyi, lafal nya itu jelas. Jadi kita bisa denger dia ngomong apa.

Dan lagu "I Know Him So Well" ini membuat gue...antara kaget, tercengang, terpesona, sampe gue menajamkan telinga gue baek-baek. Sampe akhirnya gue nyari di wikipedia by handphone...dan setelah mengtahui siapa yang menyanyikan lagu ini di album John Barrowman (it's a duet), gue baru mengerti.

Kenapa gue kaget, tercengang, dan terpesona?

Karena...ini dinyanyikan secara duet oleh dua orang pria, dengan judul "I Know Him So Well"...you guess the rest.

Aslinya, dinyanyikan oleh dua orang, Ellen Paige (terkenal karena menyanyikan lagu "Memory" from Andrew Llyod Webber' "Cats") dan Barbara Dickson untuk Broadway Musical Chess.

Gue pinginya sih cuma naro lagunya doang...tapi sepertinya gak ketemu jadi lebih baik gue taro youtube-nya aja, tapi emang cuma lagu doang, dinyanyikan oleh John Barrowman dan Daniel Boys
