Sayang, gue belum pernah liat secara langsung produksi Broadway-nya, yang gue liat langsung adalah film-nya NINE, dan seperti yang udah pernah gue tulis, gue suka banget sama lagu "My Husband Makes Movies" di film itu...apalagi dengan wajah Marion Cotillard yang agak-agak sendu gitu bikin lagunya jadi gimana...gitu.
Ternyata, seperti kebanyakan film-film adaptasi Broadway, pemeran di Broadway dan di film tentu berbeda. Nine pun juga sama. Pertama kali dibawakan oleh Karen Akers, kemudian dibawakan oleh Mary Stuart Masterson (Broadway Revival Cast - Antonio Banderas jadi Guido), dan terakhir diperankan oleh Marion Cotillard. Gue cuma ngebahas perannya Louisa Contini lho ya...untuk lebih jelasnya, seperti biasa, monggo mengunjungi wikipedia :)
Dan seperti biasa juga, terdapat perbedaan lirik antara di Broadway dan di film. So far, gue lebih suka feeling yang dimunculkan di film. Tapi toh memang harus diakui, selain medianya berbeda, adegan dari lagu yang satu itu ternyata dibuat berbeda. Jadi memang feeling yang hendak disampaikan pun juga berbeda. Tapi tetep, gue lebih suka yang Marion punya hahaha...
Kalo di film, Louisa nyanyi pada waktu sedang acara makan malam untuk memberi dukungan ke suaminya, Guido. Sementara di Broadway ketika Louisa diwawancara mengenai gosip retaknya hubungan antara dirinya dengan Guido.

2. Gue suka perkusinya, n setelah gue inget-inget dimana gue pernah denger perkusi seperti itu, ternyata susunan perkusi seperti itu mirip sama back song salah satu musuh di Final Fantasy VII yang asli. Wakaka... pantes aja gue suka. Jadi pengen cari2 lagi tuh lagu. Hehehe...
