Yang paling deket, akan rilis 6 April ini (di Amrik sono sepertinya) dan masih dalam format hardcover, Kelley Armstrong' Darkest Power 3 - The Reckoning.
Buku karangan Kelley Armstrong ini gue beli setelah buku 2 keluar. Seperti biasa, dari awal ragu-ragu mau beli, tapi toh akhirnya beli juga dan enggak nyangka, buku 1 habis dilahap hanya dalam 1 hari saja. Ckckckc...dan sejak saat itu jadi tertarik dengan Darkest Power Trilogy ini.
Darkest Powers diawali dengan The Awakening, kemudian The Summoning, dan ditutup dengan The Reckoning. Buku 2 udah dibeli tapi belum sempet dibaca (salah satu my reading list), yang enggak tahu kapan bakal dibaca, mungkin nunggu buku 3 (nunggu yang paperback tentunya), supaya bisa langsung lanjut.
So...Darkest Powers bercerita tentang...
Chloe, 15, has the ability to see dead people, but before she can figure out what is happening, she has a breakdown, is diagnosed with schizophrenia, and placed in a group home.

This suspenseful novel sets up a secret underworld where some people support and help supernaturals, while others persecute them.
Ceritanya bisa dibilang sederhana, tapi tetep menarik untuk dibaca dan alur ceritanya yang cukup cepat membuat bacaan ini jadi enggak terlalu bertele-tele dan tidak bikin boring. Ending buku 1 dibuat cukup menggantung, membuat yang baca jadi penasaraan dengan buku 2, tapi tidak terlalu menggantung sampe orang jadi super penasaran (kecuali gue mungkin, karena gue langsung buka wikipedia!)
Next book is from Rick Riordan (remember him? Remember Percy Jackson? He made Percy Jackson). Sepertinya another one that looks like Percy Jackson, nih. Rilis 4 Mei, juga masih dalam format hardcover. The Red Pyramid (The Kane Chronicles - Book 1).

Berikutnya adalah dua buku dari Cassandra Clare. Cassandra Clare adalah pengarang trilogi The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones (udah ada versi Bahasa Indonesia-nya); City of Ashes; dan City of Glass. Tiga buku ini udah pernah gue bahas di sini. Yang pasti sih nih buku menarik. Meskipun masih enggak jauh-jauh dari dunia khayal, ada vampire dan werewolf juga, tapi dua mahluk itu, vampire dan werewolf, bukanlah tokoh/mahluk utama. Dengan cerita yang bisa dibilang cukup berbeda (pada waktu itu, setahu gue) membuat gue dengan cepat melahap habis ini buku. Untungnya, waktu itu tiga buku ini udah keluar semua dalam format paperback dan tiga-tiganya ada. Jadi bisa dibilang ngebut lah gue membaca buku ini.

Nah, yang awalnya cuma tiga, tapi ternyata Cassandra Clare tertarik untuk memberikan kesempatan pada Simon (salah satu tokoh utamanya) untuk memiliki ceritanya sendiri: City of Fallen Angel.
Sementara itu, Cassandra Clare juga rupanya meluncurkan prequel The Mortal Instruments, yaitu The Infernal Devices: The Clockwork Angel, yang juga merupakan trilogi. Maka pada 7 September (31 Agustus menurut Amazon.com), buku ini akan rilis, sekali lagi dalam format Hardcover.

Gue bener-bener bakal menanti kehadiran ini buku, sekali lagi dalam format paperback (hieh...kenapa tiap kali muncul selalu dalam format hardcover tho?)

Dan jangan lupa, another book from Rick Riordan. Dan kali ini kemungkinan besar enggak jauh-jauh dari Percy Jackson, karena judulnya aja adalah Camp Half-Blood, Book 1. Baru akan rilis nanti tanggal 12 Oktober, sekali lagi masih dalam format hardcover. Sayang belum ketemu contoh covernya maupun jalan ceritanya. Yang pasti ini buku memang sekueal Percy Jackson & the Olympians, tapi bukan Percy yang jadi tokoh utamanya.

Selain itu, masih ada juga buku yang gue nantikan versi paperbacknya masuk ke sini. Terutama The Sisters Grimm oleh Michael Buckley buku 7, The Everafter War. Udah pernah juga dibahas di sini, terutama waktu baru pertama baca.
Seperti yang dapat dilihat, ini adalah buku 7, yang berarti ini buku berseri. Baru akan tamat di buku 8. Setau gue, buku 8 (dalam format hardcover) udah muncul. Dan setau gue, biasanya paperback-nya baru bakal muncul taon depan :(
Dulu gue pernah nemuin buku 1-nya dalam Bahasa Indonesia, enggak tau deh sekarang masih ada lagi apa enggak. Yang pasti sih bukan terbitan Gramedia.
Sedangkan bagi penggemar Wicked Lovely karangannya Melissa Marr, tadi gue baru aja liat bukunya yang terbaru Radiant Shadow udah muncul di Periplus, sepertinya large print edition, karena bukunya besar gitu, cuma dah bukan hardcover.
Hm...liat di amazon.com masih pre-order karena baru rilis 20 April. Apa di sini duluan? Apa gue salah liat ya tadi?
Yah apapun itu...berhubung gue gak baca jadi ya...gak gitu tertarik hehehe...
So far...ini buku-buku yang bakal gue nanti kehadirannya. Tentu, ini hanya sebagian dari buku yang benar-benar gue nanti. Are we waiting for the same thing?

Huaaah diriku ikutan nunggu yang Rick Riordan Ze!! Summoning kayaknya bagus ya? Nunggu dah lengkap aja deh. Btw Melissa Mar ada yang baru lagi? Diriku baca yang Wicked Lovely, katanya mau dibuat 3 buku aja lah koq ada lagi yang baru? Hmm, tapi ga begitu demn jadi belum ada niat juga lanjutin yang kedua, ntar2 aja kalo bacaan dah berkurang :)

Melissa Marr bikin EMPAT. Tapi yang nyambung cuma 2 sepertinya. Yang nyambung tuh Wicked Lovely sama Fragile Eternity. Sedangkan yang Ink Exchange cuma lingkungannya yang sama dan emang agak nyangkut-nyangkut sedikit dengan 2 buku itu, tapi kayaknya bisa berdiri sendiri deh. Radiant Shadow juga bisa berdiri sendiri.
Dari awal aku emang enggak tertarik dengan Wicked Lovely itu. Mungkin karena udah ketebak ceritanya gak happy end hahahah....trus sama enggak tertarik dengan tokoh-tokohnya aja.
Summoning not bad. Aku aja kaget karena ternyata menikmati banget Summoning. Iya nih, masih nunggu The Reckoning...semoga paperbacknya enggak lama rilis :)
Iya, beli Wicked juga gara2 dulu di Sby pas diskon gramed 30% sekalian ama beli Ingo, yang ternyata juga serial ampe empaaattt!! Hayah, penyiksaan nih sekarang para pengarang ini :(
